EXECUTIVE PRODUCTION/CONCEPT/SHOOTING/3D CHARACTER ANIMATION/POST-PRODUCTION

THE BRIEF

Late 2014 we were called to create a 3d animated commercial for one of the biggest food companies in Italy, using the latest technologies available in 3d modeling and animation. Teamed with the creative agency Leagas Delaney, we decided to go with a pure artistic mood, using the talent of one of the most promising directors of Europe; Carlos Lascano.
We’ve put together a team of international artists, compositing, animating, rendering and lightning inside the studio. The result was a very complex, immersive and funny work starting from scratch.

This project was awarded at the Mediastars XIXth edition, with a special star for Direction/Animation/Special Effects

The little monkeys are jugglers. They make fruit fly in the air, before passing it to the big Boss Ozzie the bear, so he can turn it into orange juice. They have three very different behaviors. Mimi is very selfish and precise, Uma is always hungry and very kind, and Zoe tries to do her best, but most of the times she doesn’t succeed in accomplishing her duty so well!

Monkeys

Ozzie, the white bear, is the good magician of the circus. He is the one who does the tricks, turning

fruit into orange juice. He is also the big boss of the circus and the anchor man of the show.

Elizabeth is a trendy giraffe, nice and shy. She likes to play with fruit and she is a very capable performer

of balancing acts. She acts for the big audience of the circus holding a pear in balance on her nose.

The parrots are a big family: the Flynns.

Flying everywhere in the circus, they are smart and ever-moving. They complete the show with their

beautiful colors and funny acting. They are able to bring buckets full of fruit all around, and pass them to the other characters, to make the magic happen.
